Gas-gas heat exchanger

Gas-gas heat exchanger

Units characterized by three tube heat exchangers, highly efficient, connected in series; it is designed to work up to a pressure of 150 bar both on the tubes side and on the shell.

In each exchanger, the process fluid passes through a bundle of tubes in parallel, while the secondary fluid is circulated in countercurrent with respect to the first on the shell side; a series of baffles placed in the shell side makes the flow of the secondary fluid perpendicular to the tube bundle, in order to increase the efficiency of heat exchange.
